Verve asked us to come up with something different, as regards Virtual Reality, for the largest exhibition stand at the Dublin Tech Summit 2017. Their client - Eir - is Ireland's largest telecommunications company so we knew we had to do something special. And that something was a Mixed Reality set up that composited live action and VR in real-time in order to give the full spatial context of what the headset wearer was experiencing to crowds of onlookers.

Feedback from participants was excellent, ranging from "I've never experienced anything like it", to "I really lost myself in that".

And Verve said, "It always great to see what can be created within Mixed Reality. We teamed up with Simvirtua to bring this incredible tech to the Dublin Tech Summit 2017 for our client Eir"

MindMyths specializes in solutions that help improve our general  wellbeing  and aid our natural ability for self-healing. They came to us to help them design and build MindfulVR - 'Your safe place to ease your journey into Mindfulness meditation'.

Together with MindMyths we conceived of Serenity, an animated avatar to be the users meditation guide. Serenity guides users through a fingertip tapping practice, known as the Emotional Freedom Technique, which combines ancient acupressure with modern psychology. MindFulVR allows the user to visit a handpicked selection of ancient Irish locations, as 360-degree immersive VR videos,  to practice their Body Scan, inside the app. MindfulVR was launched to the Oculus Store in the summer of 2017.

"It has been an absolute delight to have worked with you",  said MindyMyths CEO Mark Roddy after the release of the product.
